Notes
This performance was not listed by Apetian, however Val'kova (vol. 1, p. 215) cites press announcements indicating Rachmaninoff conducted these works in a matinee performance, before conducting Rimsky-Korsakov's 'May Night' in the evening. Val'kova records 'The Power of the Fiend' as being by Verstovsky rather than Serov. Val'kova also notes a potential further discrepancy, with Moskovskiye Listok announcing that the performance of the two works was in fact to be conducted by Esposito.
