Notes
Satina uses the word ‘apparently’ when indicating Rachmaninoff played the Prelude in G major, op. 32, no. 5, however it is confirmed in the review from the New York Times. In a later concert, Rachmaninoff played the Andante spianato before the Grande polonaise brillante, op. 22, but it does not appear to have been included at this concert. The Prelude in C sharp minor, op. 3, no. 2, is noted among 'half a dozen' encores. LoC, Sergei Rachmaninoff Archive, ML31.R33, Papers of Sophie Satin, boxes 82-89.
