Notes: Satina indicated that this was the 6th Symphony Concert of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, also noting that as an encore Rachmaninoff played the Elegy, op. 3, no. 1, and ‘some Preludes from op. 23’. However, a review in Russkiye Vedomosti on December 20 states that the second encore was the Prelude in G sharp minor, op. 32, no. 12. Rachmaninoff also accompanied Evgenija Zbrueva in two encores: ‘The Soldier’s Wife’, op. 8, no. 4 and ‘Spring Waters’, op. 14, no. 11.

Notes: Satina indicated that this was the 7th Symphony Concert of the season of the Moscow Philharmonic Society. She had wondered if only the Prelude of Glazunov’s work was played, however a review in the Russian Musical Gazette (1912, no. 2) indicates the entire suite was performed. It is not clear which concerto by Davidov was performed. Satina also noted that the work by Mussorgsky was played in place of the advertised Capriccio Espagnole of Rimsky Korsakov. Notes: Satina noted that the proceeds were to be given ‘to the needy Students of the Moscow Women College’. Her reference was Apetian’s collection of Rachmaninoff’s letters (p. 433), which included incomplete details of the program. Further details have been added from Keldysh (p. 343) and Martyn (p. 557), who note Rachmaninoff accompanied Nezhdanova in a group of his songs. Keldysh (p. 343) refers to this concert in passing, also noting the inclusion of Sobinov, yet Martyn does not list it. Notes: Satina indicated that this concert was ‘an evening of Literature and Music in Memory of Ilya Sats’. She noted that the artists taking part included ‘Yan-Ruban, Bogoslovsky, Mogilevsky, N. Orloff, Speranasky, Germanova, Kosminsky, O. Knipper, Boleslavsky, Vishnevsky, Kachalov, Louzhsky, Moskvin, Nemirovich-Danchenko, Stanislavsky, Kholov’. Martyn (p. 557) includes in the program Goat-Footed Dance, also by Sats, while a review in Russkiye Vedomosti (November 25) highlights the mixed nature of the concert and the variety of works performed (numerous, seemingly, without orchestra and Rachmaninoff's participation). These included the song 'Human Tears', 'Northern Song', and a work for choir, singer-reciter, clarinet and piano 'At the Prikaznykh Gate'.
